Instructions for Oral PresentationsDuring the XXIXth International Congress of the ISBT, the Speaker Ready Room is located in room 1.51 on the first floor. From this room all presentations will be distributed to the different meeting rooms.Please note: Only PowerPoint presentations made in Microsoft Office XP or earlier versions will be accepted. Use embedded pictures and animations only; picture and animation links to the Internet or to other files will not be accessible. The overall size of your presentation should not exceed 40 Mb. 1. When preparing your PowerPoint presentation, please use Microsoft. Most PowerPoint presentations will be made in a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. All video/data projectors (beamers) at the Congress can visualize these resolutions without a problem. Use standard Windows fonts only, .24 font size can be read easily. Accepted picture file formats: .JPG, .GIF, .TIFF, .BMP, .HTML. Accepted audio formats: MPEG2 standard resolutions, QuickTime 6 or earlier version, Real player 5 or earlier version. 2. To ensure that the presentations are well prepared, we strongly advice you to bring your presentation to the Speaker Ready Room on diskette, CD-Rom or Zip-diskette and check the presentation with the preview technical staff at least 3 hours before your presentation is scheduled. You may also bring your laptop for copying your presentation to the main computer, which will be used for sending the presentations to the different meeting rooms. The use of your own laptop during your presentation is NOT possible. 3. Single-, double slide and overhead projections will NOT be offered during the XXIXth International Congress of the ISBT Concluding:

POSTER REPLY FORM! • Use
a clear typeface and, if possible, a laser printer. • One poster board will be allocated for each poster presentation. • A printed number identifying each poster board will be provided. • Material and color of
poster board: hard board, colored white and an aluminium frame • Please remember to register for the congress in order to be allowed to
make your presentation. You can register online via the congress section of
the ISBT website www.isbt-web.org/capetown
• Posters will be
presented in the Poster Area, which is located in the Exhibition area.
• Posters should be mounted during the indicated set-up time (see below). • Posters should be mounted with double sided tape only. • Assistance and material for mounting the posters will be available from set-up time (see below), at the poster desk in the poster area. • Please
mount your poster on Monday 4 September as of 09.00 hours. • Posters will be on display in the poster area for four days and will be open for viewing during exhibition hours. •
Poster authors are requested to be present at their poster during the entire
presentation time (see below) to attend the Poster-walks. During these
walks, an expert in the field will discuss posters in the same poster
session, together with interested Congress participants. • Material should be removed before 12.00 hours on Thursday, September 7.. • If posters are not removed within the time for dismantling
(see below), your poster will be removed and destroyed by the congress
organiser. |
