The International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) is a scientific
society of world renown, founded in 1935 and bringing together professionals involved in
blood transfusion and transfusion medicine from more than 85 countries.
ISBT welcomes you to its web site. General information e.g. on the
society, on congress activities,
etc. is open to the public.
Every even year an ISBT International Congress is organised. Every odd
year Regional congresses will be organised. For more information ,

If you are not a member of the ISBT, please go to the membership
information pages. You will find what great benefits are included in the
membership fee.
Members of the ISBT get access to the "members only" section.
Members have the opportunity to set up scientific discussions
and to participate in a "supply and demand" column. The membership list
of the society is open to be consulted by ISBT members only. Further
information on the society is published in this part, e.g. on membership
and terms of reference of the Standing Committees, the ISBT Working Parties,
the Expert Panels, on ISBT Awards and on the collaboration with the
international societies and organisations.
