• Bangkok has emerged as the principle embarkation point for Vietnam but it is still possible to get direct flights from a number of major asian cities and a few australian and european cities.
• Major international airlines with access to and from Noi Bai International Airport: Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines (Vietnam), Air France, Asian Airlines, Air Cambodia, Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Eva Airways, Garuda Indonesia, Japan Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Korean Air, Lao Aviation, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Thai Airways International, Quanta Airlines, Singapore Airlines etc.

Airport tax is collected at the airport upon departure: International flights: US$ 14 per person, children under 2 years old are exempted. Domestic flights: VND 30,000 per person.

Travel to and from Noi Bai International Airport

Noi Bai International Airport is located 35 kilo-metres from the centre of Hanoi. As the traffic in Hanoi is very busy, getting to your hotel could be costly and inconvenient. Benthanh Tourist has arranged an airport shuttle transfer on November 9 and November 10. To pre-book please inform us of the date and time of your arrival, the flight number and the hotel where you are staying. Please note that the transfers are not private and will run on a shuttle service due to volumes, therefore, pre-booking and pre-paying is preferable.

Travel in Hanoi

Motorbikes and bicycles are the main means of transport of local people. Traffic in Hanoi makes a strong impression to any visitor. Cyclos is the most favourable means of transport that tourists like to experience for discovery of the peaceful city. Taxi's can be easily called from hotels. The taxi driver should set the taximeter running at the start of the journey.
