Visa procedures

All delegates to Vietnam must have a
passport which is valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival with proof of onward passage, either return or through tickets to enter into Vietnam. All ordinary passport holders are required to have visa to enter the country, with exception for visitors from Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos (30 days) and Japan, Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland (15 days).

• Tourist Visa: tourist visa may be valid from 15 to 30 days with single entry can be obtained at Vietnamese embassies, consulates abroad. Otherwise, you can get a visa at the border gates in cases of emergency. In that case, foreigners need a Letter of Invitation of an authorised agency or an International Tourist Company and the stamping fee will be quoted separately. Tourist Visa may be extended after your arrival in Vietnam;
• Business Visa: In addition to the documents specified in the general information above, the applicant must provide agreement from their sponsor or partner in Vietnam. It is possible to arrange 2-month or 6-month multiple entry visas for business people.

The local housing agent of the congress, Benthanh Tourist is willing to assist us in providing you with the letter of invitation for your visa application.

Therefore we need from you the following information

• Full name (passport name)
• Full address details of your home address
• E-mail address
• Date of birth
• Passport number
• Nationality
• Occupation
• Duration stay in Vietnam ( date of entry and date of departure)
• Type of visa (single, double or multiple entry?)
• City and country of the embassy where you will obtain the visa from.

After your submission the information will be forwarded directly to Benthanh Tourist and Benthanh Tourist will send you the complete letter of invitation to the e-mail address or fax number provided. With this letter you can go to your embassy to obtain the visa.

Please take good note of the fact the preparation of the above mentioned letter which is needed for your visum application will cost a small amount of money. Please find the prices hereunder:

• 5 EUR for single 30 day tourist visa
• 10 EUR for single 30 days on arrival tourist visa
• 20 EUR for multiple over 30 days business visa (2 months, 3 months and 6 months)

If you are making use of the above mentioned service we will charge this small amount to you on site upon your arrival in Hanoi at the registration desk.

Please bear in mind that your Embassy will also charge you for the real visum, this amount differs from country to country.
