Hotel accomodation

Introduction

A wide range of hotel rooms have been reserved
for exhibitors and participants attending the
XXXth International Congress of the ISBT which
will be held from June 7 – 12, 2008 in Macao SAR , China.
International Conference Consultants Limited (ICC ) has been appointed as the Official Housing & Travel Agency to handle enquiries and requests for rooms.

Reservation

To make a hotel reservation, please complete the “Hotel and Tour Booking Form” then fax or send it to IC . You should indicate your preferences on the booking form and return with deposit payment
as soon as possible since hotel blocks will be filled rapidly.

Confirmation of Hotel Bookings

On receipt of the completed Hotel and Tour Booking Form and the hotel deposit, a confirmation will be sent by e-mail or by fax.

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. A confirmation with official receipt will be sent by e-mail or by fax. Reservation made after March 31, 2008 will be subject to availability of hotel rooms and special conference rates may not be honoured.
The hotel reservations will be made on a first come, first served basis according to when the requests for accommodation are received. Double beds and extra beds are available upon request.

Hotel Deposits and Payment

Deposit is required to make the hotel booking. Deposit can be made in Hong Kong Dollars or US Dollars by bankdraft, bank transfer or credit card.

Deposit per room at the Venetian Macao

Four-night deposit per room is required due to strict booking policy by the Venetian Macao. Before April 30, 2008, balance of room charge is required. Payment not received by April 30, 2008 will result
in automatic cancellation of all accommodation and forfeiture of deposit paid. After April 30, 2008, all bookings must be paid in full after confirmation of the room availability.

Deposit per room at other hotels

One-night deposit per room based on the rate of Saturday night is required. Balance of payment to be settled with respective hotel upon check out.

Cancellations and Refund Policy

ICC should be notified in writing of all cancellations.
Refunds for cancellations of rooms or room nights will be subject to the following deadlines and charges:

Charge per room in the Venetian Macao, Mandarin Oriental and Best Western Hotel Taipa

Before March 31, 2008, full refund less a handling charge of HK$200 / US $26
Until April 30, 2008, one night room charge
After April 30, 2008, full room charge *

Charge per room in other hotels

Before April 15, 2008, full refund less a handling charge of HK$200 / US $26
Until May 30, 2008, one night room charge
After May 30, 2008, full room charge *

* Full room charge applied to cancellation, no show, arrive later or earlier than the indicated dates will also be classified. All refunds will be made 30 days AFTER the close of ISBT MACAO 2008.

Name Changes for Hotel Bookings

Participants may substitute the names of other participants from the same organization for their own provided that they notify ICC before 72 hours prior to the date of check in and the period of stay
must remain the same as the original booking.

Arrival Dates

If you are crossing the “International Date Line” please take into consideration the time difference and check that your arrival date in Macao is correct.

Early Arrivals and Late Departures

Reservations for early arrivals and late departures will be subject to availability. The check-in time is 14.00 or 15.00 hours and check-out time is 11.00 or 12.00 hours depends on each hotel’s policy.

No Show

In the event of no-shows, all payments will be non-refundable.
